1. Payment methods
VOLT may accept cards and other payment methods displayed at checkout or in store. Available methods may vary by product, location, order value, and purchase type. The payment method and any terms applicable to it will be shown before payment.
2. Normal purchases and installments
A normal purchase is paid in full through the payment method selected at checkout. An installment purchase is subject to a separate eligibility assessment and plan summary. Card details are requested for an installment purchase only after the application reaches the required approved status.
The Installment Policy explains eligibility and plan administration. This policy explains payment handling once a customer proceeds to pay.
3. Authorization and due dates
The customer authorizes VOLT and its payment service providers to process the amount displayed at checkout. For installments, payment dates and the first payment date appear in the approved plan summary. Customers are responsible for scheduled payments and should maintain an active payment method.
4. Failed, missed, or incorrect payments
If a payment fails, VOLT may ask the customer to update the payment method or contact support. Any late-payment process, fee, interest, or penalty is as shown clearly in the applicable order, plan summary, or product listing before the customer confirms and will not apply unless disclosed in the applicable terms. Customers should report duplicate or incorrect charges promptly so VOLT can investigate.
5. Receipts and refunds
A receipt or confirmation may be provided electronically or in store. Refund eligibility is governed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy. Approved refunds are generally returned through the original payment method where practicable; the processing time is as shown clearly in the applicable order, plan summary, or product listing before the customer confirms. Installment refunds may require coordination with the plan administrator and may not automatically cancel outstanding amounts until confirmed.
6. Security and payment information
Payment details are processed through payment providers and security controls appropriate to the transaction. VOLT will not ask customers to provide card PINs, passwords, or one-time passwords through ordinary support messages. Customers must protect their own device, account, and authentication information.
7. Updating payment information
Customers may request an update to payment details through the available account or support process. Identity verification may be required before a payment method or installment instruction is changed.
